Role Description

The Executive Director of Production is a full-time, on-site role based in Sewickley, PA. This role oversees all aspects of worship production, including audio, video, lighting, and stage design for weekend services, special events, and online broadcasts. The individual will lead and mentor production and creative teams, including staff and volunteers, ensuring services and events are executed with excellence and consistency. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and coordinating production schedules, managing budgets and resources, supervising live broadcasts, and maintaining production equipment. The role also partners with pastoral and ministry leaders to develop creative concepts, visual media, and communication strategies that support the church’s mission and enhance the worship experience.

Qualifications

  • Strong Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating multiple concurrent events and initiatives.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Production Management, overseeing live services, events, technical teams, and production workflows.
  • Experience in Broadcasting and Television or similar live media environments, including live streaming, video switching, and broadcast standards.
  • Background in Entertainment or live event production, with the ability to create engaging, high-quality worship and event experiences.
  • Proficiency with audio, video, lighting, and multimedia technologies commonly used in church or performance venues.
  • Leadership skills to recruit, train, and develop staff and volunteers in a collaborative, supportive manner.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail under time-sensitive conditions.
  • Ability to work on-site during evenings, weekends, and special events as ministry needs require.
  • Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in production, media, or related fields.
  • Alignment with the church’s Christian mission and values, with sensitivity and respect for a diverse congregation and team.
