YOUNG MENS STREETWEAR APPAREL DESIGNER – MENS & BOYS
The Designer will report to and work in partnership with the Design Director to create men’s and boy’s design collections that cater to the streetwear market within a mass market space. Product includes tops and bottoms, knits and wovens, swim and outerwear. Experience with accessories is a plus. This is a creative role for an innovative individual that excels in a creative work space, owns the design process from concept through pre‑production and has an all‑hands‑on‑deck mentality.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Work closely with the Design Director in developing brand‑appropriate collections for men’s and boys. Collaborate throughout the design process while taking ownership and contributing new ideas.

Handle and work through a large SKU count with flexibility to pivot across projects, stay organized and meet calendar deadlines.

Design into strategic merchandised assortments to maximize offerings and sales opportunities.

Stay informed on fashion and social trends that will influence successful design concepts and new business opportunities.

Have a great eye for color and color palette creation, be skilled in garment construction, confident in introducing new silhouettes and fabrics, and have knowledge of print techniques and garment washes.

Create a high volume of development tech packs and BOMs with meticulous attention to detail.

Have a great eye and experience working with prints and graphics in Illustrator, Photoshop, and AI. Research and introduce new art styles and fonts. Create detailed mood and art direction briefs for graphic artists. Handle artwork re‑coloring and revisions, artwork sizing, garment CAD placement, and detailed artwork pitch pages.

Partner with the tech team on creating new T‑silhouettes, spec updates, and knowledge of guiding fittings.

Daily communication with overseas factories to ensure new developments are accurately being produced and are on time.

Collaborate and design into SMU projects and requests as they are submitted by retailers.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum five years of professional industry experience within the men’s apparel space.

Excited to take ownership and bring creative ideas to the table.

Ability to thrive and stay organized in a fast‑paced environment while owning a large SKU count.

Strong sense and understanding of apparel construction, fabric and print techniques.

Highly skilled in Illustrator, Photoshop, Excel, and the ability to introduce AI into the design process.

Excellent with CAD sketching, digital renderings, and a great eye for presentation layouts.

Team player and collaborator with a positive vibe and attitude who excels in a fast‑paced environment.
