Position Overview
Spectrum Reach, the advertising sales division of Spectrum, offers premium video solutions to business owners and advertising agencies. This Account Executive position drives revenue through account management and proactive selling of data‑driven media solutions.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Achieve sales and strategic goals.
- Cultivate and nurture connections with brands and marketing/advertising agencies.
- Recognize business challenges that Spectrum Reach’s media solutions can address and connect solutions accordingly.
- Oversee sales forecasting and reporting for your Book of Business.
- Communicate effectively with external partners, clients, and internal stakeholders across technical levels.
- Deliver client results that earn repeat business.
Required Qualifications
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue expectations.
- 1+ years outside or B2B sales experience.
- Ability to use data to develop and sell a media strategy.
- Adept at presenting complex solutions in a simple, easy‑to‑understand manner.
- Understanding of the media landscape and evolving dynamics of advertising.
- Strong presentation skills and ability to negotiate with C‑level clients.
- Local and regional travel; valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Accustomed to building processes to hold yourself accountable to goals; own your day.
- Familiarity with the Adtech ecosystem (ad network, ad exchange, SEM platform, DSP, SSP, and other online advertising technology).
- Progressive sales experience in digital advertising (preferably CTV), insertion order media, and/or managed services to marketing decision‑makers.
- Knowledge of Salesforce.
- Ability to succeed in a fast‑paced, rapidly changing environment while maintaining high client relationships.
- Knowledge of media research & planning tools (e.g., Strata, ComScore, Nielsen, GA4).
- Passion for the convergence of entertainment, technology, and data that fuels new opportunities for Spectrum Reach.
Compensation
The role is base + commission, with a starting total up to $83k. The base pay ranges from $35,000.00 to $38,000.00, with a commission earnings target starting at $45,000.
