Responsibilities
Operate alloy saw according to production specifications to produce correct charge weights and organize incoming alloy and current inventory by type.
Organize incoming alloy by type keeping the area clean and organized.
Become forklift certified and operate a hoist/crane and grinder.
Weld charge pieces together.
Operate GSP standards: XRS gun inspection, ingot chamfering at both ends, proper alloy consumption +/- 2 lbs, and ensure only one open crane in the area.
Communicate alloy needs and use the Mercury system.
Cross‑train and perform other duties as needed by the supervisor.
Qualifications
Evidence of a high school diploma or GED is required.
Able to perform math functions and read instructions in English or blueprints.
Ability to regularly lift up to 10 pounds, frequently lift up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer‑sponsored work authorization.
Required to obtain export licenses from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls; must work with export‑controlled technology in accordance with U.S. export control law.
