Senior Executive Search Consultant

Next Level Recruiting, LLC · Evanston, IL, USA ·

Pay:
$90,000-$110,000/yr
Job type:
Full Time

Run your own full-desk search practice placing senior advisors and leadership talent across RIAs, family offices, and investment platforms. A senior role for experienced agency recruiters who want to develop clients, originate searches, fill roles, and earn uncapped commission tied directly to production.
About Next Level Recruiting:
We’re a specialized executive search firm focused on financial services and wealth management. We partner with RIAs, family offices, multi‑family offices, private wealth platforms, and investment‑focused firms to place high‑impact advisors, executives, and leadership talent. We’re building a team of experienced recruiters who want long‑term upside, ownership of their searches, and a clear path to higher earnings.

What This Role Is:
You’ll own full‑cycle executive searches end to end — partnering directly with clients, driving candidate pipelines from outreach through offer acceptance, and building lasting relationships across the wealth advisory ecosystem. This is a quality‑over‑volume desk with meaningful responsibility, full‑desk ownership, and income tied directly to your production. In addition to working active searches, you can develop your own client relationships, originate searches, and fill the roles you bring in.

What You’ll Do:

Own and execute full‑cycle executive searches end to end

Partner directly with clients to understand hiring needs and market dynamics

Develop new client relationships and originate searches

Drive candidate pipelines from outreach through offer acceptance

Manage search progress and pipeline hygiene in Bear Claw (ATS/CRM)

Build long‑term relationships with senior‑level financial professionals

Grow your desk through client development, candidate relationships, and successful placements

Search Sectors:
Family offices, multi‑family offices (MFOs), RIAs, private wealth management firms, and investment‑focused platforms including private equity, venture capital, investment banking, and hedge funds.

What You’ll Need:

5+ years of full‑cycle agency recruiting experience

Proven success sourcing and engaging passive candidates with LinkedIn Recruiter

Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent searches against production goals

Experience developing client relationships or managing client‑facing search processesComfortable using an ATS/CRM and owning your own desk

Track record of meeting or exceeding recruiting production goals

Interest in financial services, investment, wealth management, or executive search

Nice to Have:

Recruiting experience in financial services, wealth management, or professional services

Executive or retained search background

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience

Who This Role Is For:

Experienced agency recruiters who want more ownership and upside

Recruiters tired of transactional, high‑volume staffing

People who want to run a desk, develop clients, and be accountable to production goals

Competitive professionals motivated by uncapped earnings

Recruiters who want to make more money through placements, not manage people

Full‑desk recruiters who want a specialized market with higher‑value searches

Why This Role Is Different:
Most recruiting roles reward speed and volume. We reward quality, market expertise, long‑term relationship building, and production. This role is built for recruiters who want to maximize earnings by building a profitable desk, developing clients, originating searches, and closing placements. You’ll work with sophisticated clients and senior‑level candidates in the wealth management and investment ecosystem, where credibility, discretion, and market knowledge matter.

Base salary: $90,000–$110,000, depending on experience

Health and dental insurance

401(k) with company match

Clear earnings progression tied to production, client development, and placement volume

Opportunity to develop your own client relationships and searches

Long‑term income upside for high‑performing recruiters
