Job Summary
The University of North Georgia is accepting applications for a federal work study student in the Performing Arts department on the Gainesville campus. The Video Content Creator will oversee planning, production, and editing of video content for promotional materials and social media, working closely with the Marketing Manager and GTA Marketing Team.

Responsibilities

Develop, write, create, and edit short‑form video content for social media, email, and web use, including show trailers, interviews, and advertisements.

Shoot video of GTA events, including practicums, student‑led productions, capstone performances, and open rehearsals for use in social media, email, and print media.

Assist in maintaining an organized library of photo and video assets.

Assist in maintenance of camera and lighting equipment.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Strong videography and editing skills.

Advanced knowledge of video cameras, including DSLR and traditional video cameras, and video editing software (Premiere Pro).

Outstanding organizational skills with strong attention to detail and deadlines.

Dependability, professionalism, and flexibility.

Required Qualifications

Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
