Position Summary
Facilitates standards alignment. Designs, develops and facilitates professional development aligned with the District Strategic Plan, District Learning Initiatives, and current Career and Technical Education standards and requirements. Develop, compile, and deliver resources to support implementation standards. Provides CTE teachers with support as needed in the areas of assessments, industry certifications, state reporting of CTE data, CTE student organizations, marketing of CTE programs, and other CTE initiatives.

Training and Experience
Master's degree
Five years of experience teaching in a Business and Applied Program CTE area at secondary level
Instructional leadership (PLC Lead, Department Chair, Academic Coach, TOA)
Licensing / Certification Requirements
Valid Arizona CTE Teaching Certificate with appropriate Subject Areas
Valid IVP AZ DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Knowledge of CTE regulations and functions
Skill In
Articulates curriculum standards.
Comprehends literacy and can articulate strategies teachers can use to increase students' literacy skills.
Appreciates data‑driven decision‑making and how it relates to program development, implementation, and assessment.
