About the Role
Uplift Aerospace is hiring a part-time Relationship Manager in Brevard County to help build and manage relationships with local schools and district leaders.

This role is ideal for a retired or former science, STEM, CTE, or aerospace-related teacher who understands classrooms, has strong local education relationships, and wants a flexible part-time role. Because district and school meetings are often scheduled as opportunities arise, the right candidate should have a flexible schedule and be able to accommodate occasional meetings with short notice.

What You’ll Do

Build relationships with Brevard County teachers, principals, district leaders, STEM/CTE contacts, and community partners

Represent Uplift Aerospace and Starborn Academy in local school and district conversations

Help identify schools and programs that may be a strong fit for Uplift’s STEM, aerospace, VR, and CTE offerings

Schedule and attend local meetings, school visits, showcases, and presentations

Provide meeting notes, follow-up summaries, and next-step recommendations to the Uplift team

Share local insight on school priorities, implementation needs, and decision-making processes

Track contacts, relationship activity, and opportunities in Uplift’s CRM or internal system

Required Qualifications

Lives in Brevard County, Florida

Former or retired science, STEM, CTE, engineering, technology, robotics, or aerospace-related educator

Flexible part-time schedule with daytime availability for school and district meetings

Ability to accommodate occasional meetings scheduled with approximately 48 hours’ notice

Strong understanding of school culture and district decision-making

Comfortable speaking with teachers, principals, district staff, and community partners

Professional, organized, dependable, and self-directed

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to meetings throughout Florida

Preferred Qualifications

Teaching experience in Brevard County schools

Existing relationships with Brevard County educators, school leaders, STEM/CTE contacts, or district staff

Experience with STEM, aerospace, robotics, engineering, project-based learning, or career pathway programs

Familiarity with curriculum adoption, instructional materials, school purchasing, grants, or district implementation

Compensation

$35/hour

Approved local travel reimbursement

Potential for expanded responsibilities as Uplift’s Florida programs grow
