Director of Paid Media & Growth Job at FullScale Media Group in New York

FullScale Media Group · New York, NY, USA ·

Job type:
Full Time

FullScale Media Group is seeking a highly analytical, execution-focused Director of Paid Media & Growth to build and manage the performance marketing infrastructure behind our artists, brands, and clients. This is a hands‑on operator role: the ideal candidate loves building systems, optimizing campaigns, analyzing data, and solving growth challenges. You will work directly with the founder and leadership team to implement paid media strategies, build acquisition funnels, create reporting infrastructure, and continuously improve campaign performance. Unlike a traditional agency media buyer, this role extends beyond ad management. You will connect advertising, landing pages, retargeting systems, analytics, lead capture, and conversion tracking into a cohesive growth engine. You will become a foundational member of a rapidly growing company and help build the paid media division from the ground up, with opportunities for equity participation and significant upside as the company grows.

Responsibilities

  • Build, launch, manage, and optimize Meta advertising campaigns across multiple client accounts.

  • Develop full-funnel acquisition strategies including prospecting, retargeting, lead generation, conversion campaigns, and customer re‑engagement.

  • Build and maintain landing pages, lead funnels, opt‑in systems, and conversion pathways.

  • Implement tracking infrastructure including pixels, conversion APIs, attribution systems, UTM frameworks, and event tracking.

  • Create and maintain performance dashboards that provide real‑time visibility into campaign performance, customer acquisition costs, conversion rates, return on ad spend, and other key metrics.

  • Analyze campaign data and provide actionable recommendations for optimization and scaling.

  • Conduct audience research, market research, and competitive analysis to improve targeting and messaging.

  • Work alongside leadership to execute growth strategies for artists, brands, creators, and businesses.

  • Coordinate with creative teams to ensure ad creative aligns with performance objectives.

  • Monitor campaigns daily and proactively identify opportunities, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.

  • Support client calls and performance reviews by presenting campaign results and growth insights.

  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to tracking, attribution, lead generation, and campaign performance.

  • Step in to manage urgent campaign needs and client emergencies when required.

Qualifications – Non‑Negotiables

  • 3 to 5+ years of hands‑on paid media experience.

  • Advanced Meta Ads experience with proven results across multiple accounts and budgets.

  • Experience building and optimizing lead funnels and landing pages.

  • Strong understanding of retargeting, attribution, conversion tracking, customer acquisition, and lifecycle marketing.

  • Experience building reporting dashboards and performance reporting systems.

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to make data‑driven decisions.

  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities.

  • Strong passion for music, art, culture, creators, and digital media.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.

  • Comfortable owning execution while collaborating closely with leadership on strategy.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Google Ads, YouTube Ads, TikTok Ads, or other paid acquisition platforms.

  • Familiarity with tools such as Looker Studio, Triple Whale, Hyros, Airtable, Notion, Google Analytics, HubSpot, GoHighLevel, or similar platforms.

  • Basic understanding of email marketing and CRM automation.

  • Experience working with artists, creators, influencers, entertainment companies, or consumer brands.

  • Basic video editing or creative production experience is a plus but not required.

Ideal Candidate

  • Obsessed with performance marketing and growth.

  • A builder who enjoys creating systems from scratch.

  • Data‑driven without losing sight of creativity.

  • Highly accountable and execution‑oriented.

  • Comfortable working independently and solving problems without being micromanaged.

  • Calm under pressure and able to manage multiple moving parts simultaneously.

  • Constantly looking for ways to improve conversion rates, acquisition costs, reporting systems, and overall business performance.

  • Excited by the opportunity to help build a marketing division from the ground up and play a major role in the long‑term growth of the company.

Compensation

Retainer‑based compensation tied to client accounts, with opportunities for long‑term equity participation and leadership growth as the company scales.
