About The Role Homepoet is seeking a dedicated and talented Web Content Specialist to join its digital team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing web content across various digital platforms. Your primary focus will be on developing visually appealing and user-friendly websites and landing pages that align with brand guidelines and marketing strategies. You will work closely with designers, marketers, and developers to ensure that content is accurate, engaging, and optimized for search engines and user experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background with proficiency in CMS platforms, HTML, CSS, and layout design. You will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for web design, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Your contributions will directly impact the company's online visibility and customer engagement, making this a vital role within the organization.
Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in web content management, website development, or related roles.
Proficiency in Content Management Systems (CMS) and experience with page builders.
Solid knowledge of HTML and CSS, with the ability to implement and troubleshoot code.
Experience with graphic editing tools such as Photoshop and InDesign, with a good sense of design and layout principles.
Technical affinity and enthusiasm for testing, optimizing, and exploring new tools and technologies.
Experience working with analytics tools like Google Analytics and Sistrix to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
Familiarity with SEO, GEO, structured data (schema.org), and accessibility standards.
Open-mindedness towards AI tools and prompt engineering, with a willingness to incorporate new technologies into workflows.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
Creativity, pragmatic thinking, and problem-solving skills to improve and innovate web content.
Responsibilities Develop and implement websites and landing pages based on provided designs and specifications, or create new concepts independently.
Manage and update content within CMS platforms, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all web pages.
Perform HTML and CSS modifications to enhance website functionality and appearance.
Prepare visual content and graphics for web use, utilizing tools like Photoshop and InDesign to optimize images and layouts.
Design, build, and distribute newsletters through marketing and email automation tools, ensuring targeted segmentation and personalized content.
Utilize automation, segmentation, and reporting features to analyze campaign performance and improve future initiatives.
Leverage web analytics and evaluation tools to monitor website performance, user behavior, and engagement metrics, implementing improvements accordingly.
Conduct quality assurance checks, including link validation, responsiveness testing on mobile and desktop, performance optimization, SEO basics, tracking verification, and accessibility compliance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure web content aligns with marketing strategies and brand standards.
