This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Content Moderation Specialist (SA) based in Switzerland.
This role is focused on maintaining a safe, compliant, and trustworthy digital environment by reviewing user-generated content across a high-volume online platform. You will play a key part in ensuring that content meets established safety standards, community guidelines, and legal requirements. The position requires careful evaluation of sensitive material and consistent application of moderation policies. You will work in a structured, fast-paced environment where accuracy, fairness, and attention to detail are essential. Collaboration with escalation teams ensures complex or ambiguous cases are handled appropriately. Accountabilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, assessing, and moderating content to ensure compliance with platform policies and maintaining a safe online ecosystem.
Review user-generated content and ensure compliance with internal guidelines, safety standards, and legal requirements
Identify, flag, and report content that violates policies, including harmful, misleading, or inappropriate material
Apply moderation rules consistently and maintain high levels of accuracy and fairness in decision-making
Escalate complex, sensitive, or unclear cases to senior moderators or specialized policy teams
Meet defined productivity and quality targets in a high-volume moderation environment
Maintain strict confidentiality while handling sensitive user data and content
Support continuous improvement of moderation processes through feedback and observations
Requirements:

The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, good judgment, and the ability to work effectively in structured moderation environments.
6 months to 1 year of experience in trust & safety, compliance, moderation, or similar roles (preferred)
Strong attention to detail and ability to evaluate sensitive or potentially harmful content objectively
Basic understanding of content moderation workflows, tools, and community guidelines
Awareness of cultural context and its impact on online content interpretation
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to document decisions clearly and consistently
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, policy-driven environment
