Flexible Hybrid: Three Days per week in-person

Responsibilities
Lead the design, creation, and maintenance of the University’s website, focusing on functionality, user experience, appearance, accessibility, and conversion rate optimization.
Regularly evaluate organization and layout of websites/pages and implement appropriate information architectures to maximize user experience, website performance, and best practices.
Coordinate with other members of campus to create and modify webpages for specific purposes or outcomes. Be first point of contact for people needing help with web issues related to content, design, and images.
Design and create consistently branded digital products that provide compelling digital experiences for key audiences.
Contribute to the strategy, design, and execution of digital campaigns designed to bring people to the University’s website.
Perform other related duties as assigned and based on departmental need.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, design, website design/development, advertising, computer science, or a related discipline.
Experience:
3–4 years of web development experience using WordPress or a similar Content Management System.
Demonstrated knowledge of and skill in web design, UI design, and UX design, including accessibility best practices.
Preferred: Experience using web analytics to optimize webpages for organic and paid traffic and conversion rate optimization.
Additional consideration given to those with HTML/CSS/JavaScript knowledge and other marketing, communications, or higher education knowledge or experience.
