Our Challenge
We are seeking a skilled React Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining user-facing web applications using React.js and related technologies. You will collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product managers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and performant applications.
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte NC is $95K - $105K /year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
- Work closely with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure applications are fast, responsive, and efficient across devices and browsers.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
- Connect front-end applications with backend services and third-party APIs.
- Keep up with the latest React ecosystem tools, libraries, and industry trends.
Requirements:
- Proven React.js development experience (3+ years preferred).
- Strong expertise in React Hooks (useState, useEffect, useContext, useReducer, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with Zustand or similar state management libraries.
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript is a plus.
- Solid understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous data fetching.
- Experience with modern build tools (Webpack, Babel, npm/yarn).
- Knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and code versioning best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
Preferred, but not required:
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Familiarity with Next.js or other SSR frameworks.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment.
- Prior experience in Agile development environments.
