Client is seeking a

Senior Visual FoxPro Developer

to support a mission-critical engineering application environment for a leading aerospace and aviation organization. This individual will support and enhance a critical legacy application while helping execute a long-term modernization strategy to a modern Microsoft technology stack.

Responsibilities
Support, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance a mission-critical Visual FoxPro application
Work directly with engineering and business users to gather requirements and implement enhancements
Investigate and resolve production issues, defects, and support requests
Maintain and optimize Visual FoxPro free-table (DBF) database structures
Develop and support SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and integrations
Document application functionality, architecture, and support processes
Participate in knowledge transfer activities and help reduce legacy system risk
Collaborate with development teams on modernization initiatives
ssist with the phased migration of Visual FoxPro functionality to a C#/.NET architecture
Provide technical recommendations regarding support, enhancement, and modernization efforts.

Required Qualifications

8+ years of software development experience
Strong hands-on Visual FoxPro development experience
Experience supporting Visual FoxPro versions 6 through 10
Strong understanding of Visual FoxPro free-table environments and database architecture
Microsoft SQL Server experience (SQL Server 2012 and newer)
Experience supporting and enhancing complex business-critical applications
Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills
bility to work directly with business users, engineering teams, and technical stakeholders
Must currently reside in South Florida (Miami-Dade, Broward, or Palm Beach County)

Preferred Qualifications

C# development experience
Experience developing or supporting Web APIs
Experience modernizing or migrating legacy applications to .NET technologies
WPF desktop application development experience
Experience integrating legacy applications with ERP systems
Experience in manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, aviation, MRO, inventory management, or Bill of Materials (BOM) environments
