Director, D2D Experience & Creative Strategy

Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer
We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and highly collaborative Director of D2D Experience & Creative Strategy to help shape the culture and engagement of our Door-to-Door Sales Organization.
In this role, you will design the experiences, programs, events, and communication strategies that help our sales reps feel motivated, connected, supported, recognized, and proud to be part of the organization. You will be the creative mastermind behind strengthening both rep recruitment and long‑term retention.
As a strategic partner across Marketing, Sales Leadership, and Operations, you will bring the D2D sales experience to life by owning high-impact events, social media, content, and engagement initiatives that support rep recruitment, retention, and community-building.
Core Responsibilities
Experience & Engagement Strategy (Social Media, Content, & Events)
Direct Leadership: Act as the direct supervisor, mentor, and strategic partner to the Social Media, Content, and Event roles, heavily embedding yourself in their day-to-day planning, development, and execution.
Event Strategy & Execution: Build and drive the high-level strategy for all sales leadership events, high-stakes sales incentive trips, and recruiting events. Ensure every event is mathematically evaluated for success using internal event scoring and review metrics.
Social Media & Content Vision: Design, iterate, and secure an efficient, high-impact social media and content creation workflow. Oversee content grids, posting schedules, and secure password management protocols to maximize brand visibility and community engagement.
Recruitment & Retention Engine: Continuously optimize all social media, content, and event initiatives to serve as the company’s leading tools for attracting new reps and maintaining the loyalty of existing ones.
Creative Direction & Execution
Cross-Functional Execution: Leverage your experience working with graphic design and media teams to successfully execute high-quality creative assets and marketing content.
Training Content Development: Gather requirements from key sales stakeholders to develop robust presentation decks (PowerPoint/Google Slides) and educational content.
Media Pipeline Management: Coordinate with the media team on the production and upload of weekly training recordings and maintain distribution pipeline.
Brand Standards: Maintain high-quality visual benchmarks utilizing resources like Pinterest mood boards and internal media production guides.
Cross-functional Partnership & Communication
Strategic Alignment: Serve as a strategic partner across Marketing and Sales Leadership to align engagement initiatives with organizational goals and the evolving needs of the D2D Sales Org.
Stakeholder Alignment: Serve as the central connection point between corporate marketing and field sales leadership, systematically gathering, prioritizing, and delivering on requests.
Branded Assets: Collaborate with internal creative, media, and merchandise teams to develop and execute branded apparel, promotional items, training materials, and rep engagement assets.
Partnership External Stakeholder Relations: Maintain and expand existing partnerships (e.g., Utah Valley University, Utah Hockey Club) and pioneer new collegiate tabling opportunities in primary sales regions like Utah, Texas, Arizona, and Southern California.
People Development: Directly manage and provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to team members supporting events, content, social media, and community engagement initiatives.
Reporting & Governance: Provide daily operational reporting to leadership. Audit internal team documentation every 6 months to ensure training manuals and process files remain current.
Agile Management: Build and maintain an ongoing department backlog; conduct weekly backlog grooming and prioritization to ensure maximum ROI on marketing output via ClickUp.
Site Leadership: Serve as the executive site leader for the Provo Studio office. Manage the daily environment, culture, and administrative staff.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Creative Direction, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Marketing Management, with a heavy emphasis on building organic social media content strategies and corporate event planning. At least 3 years directly tied to a door-to-door sales environment, high-growth recruitment network, or related creative field.
Creative Aptitude: Proven portfolio or track record showing examples of creative direction, visual design principles, and direct collaboration with graphic design and media teams.
Technical Stack: Proficient with Canva or Adobe Illustrator; Microsoft PowerPoint & Excel or Google Workspace equivalents; and ClickUp or similar enterprise project management software.
Scheduling & Flexibility: Must have the flexibility to work occasional weekends and flex hours after 5:00 PM during peak, high-stakes intervals of the recruiting season.
Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and master-level communication skills. Highly collaborative with a demonstrated ability to manage up, manage across, and set flawless expectations with field sales leaders.
Travel: Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time to support field operations or key events and travel to the Dallas Corporate office once a quarter.
