Position SummaryThe Community Liaison & Public Relations Coordinator serves as the representative of the organization within the community while managing public relations efforts to enhance the company's reputation, visibility, and stakeholder engagement. This position develops and maintains relationships with healthcare providers, community organizations, referral sources, media outlets, and the public to promote services, support business growth, and strengthen community partnerships.ALICE AND SURROUNDING AREASKey ResponsibilitiesCommunity RelationsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with physicians, healthcare facilities, community organizations, senior centers, and referral sources.Represent the organization at community events, health fairs, networking meetings, and professional associations.Identify opportunities to expand community outreach and increase brand awareness.Coordinate educational presentations and community engagement programs.Maintain a database of community contacts and referral partners.Monitor community needs and provide feedback to leadership regarding opportunities for service expansion.Public RelationsCreate and implement public relations strategies that enhance the organization's image and reputation.Develop press releases, newsletters, marketing materials, and public communications.Manage social media presence and coordinate public-facing communications.Serve as a point of contact for media inquiries and public information requests.Promote company achievements, events, and community involvement initiatives.Assist with crisis communication and reputation management efforts when needed.Business Development SupportGenerate and maintain referral relationships that contribute to organizational growth.Collaborate with marketing and leadership teams to develop promotional campaigns.Track outreach activities, referral trends, and community engagement metrics.Participate in strategic planning initiatives related to market expansion and community presence.Administrative DutiesPrepare reports on outreach activities, community partnerships, and public relations efforts.Maintain accurate records of meetings, events, and referral activities.Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable healthcare regulations.Assist with special projects and organizational events as assigned.ExperienceMinimum of 1–2 years of experience in community relations, public relations, marketing, business development, healthcare outreach, or a related field.Experience in healthcare, home health, provider services, or senior services preferred.Proven experience building professional relationships and networking within the community.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong public speaking and presentation abilities.Knowledge of public relations principles and community outreach strategies.Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with diverse stakeholders.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Proficiency with Google and social media platforms.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.Understanding of HIPAA and healthcare compliance requirements preferred.Physical RequirementsAbility to travel locally for meetings, events, and community outreach activities.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Ability to attend occasional evening or weekend events as needed.Preferred QualificationsExperience in healthcare marketing or community outreach.Established relationships within the local healthcare and community network.Experience managing social media, media relations, and public communications.Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.Performance IndicatorsGrowth in referral sources and community partnerships.Increased community engagement and event participation.Positive public and stakeholder feedback.Achievement of outreach and marketing goals.Effective promotion of organizational services and mission.Employment Status: Full-Time
