AV/VC Support Specialist (rate open, 6 months plus)
Key Responsibilities

Event Support & Management

Provide comprehensive audiovisual and video conferencing support for high-profile internal and external events

Execute equipment setup in conference rooms with thorough quality assurance testing

Deliver real-time technical assistance to clients during video conferences, resolving both software and hardware challenges

Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of audiovisual equipment

Apply expertise in audio and video conferencing wiring, connectivity protocols, and system integration

Diagnose and resolve microphone issues, audio feedback problems, and related technical concernsSupport multiple conferencing platforms including Zoom, WebEx, Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business, and GoToMeeting

Manage Zoom Rooms, room appliances, and LifeSize video conferencing equipment

Maintain proficiency with current and emerging videoconferencing technologies

Required Qualifications

Technical Competencies

Advanced troubleshooting capabilities in Windows environments, specifically Windows 10

Comprehensive AV troubleshooting capabilities, video switching, control systems and DSP

Proficiency with wireless networking systems and protocols

Specialized knowledge of Zoom Rooms and associated hardware appliances

Exceptional customer service skills with rapid response capabilities

Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail

Outstanding organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

Effective interpersonal communication skills for diverse stakeholder interactions

Ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible language for non-technical users

Proven capacity to work both independently and as an integral team member

Strong commitment to customer satisfaction while adhering to established policies and procedures

Capability to perform effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred

Alternatively, minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience in audiovisual/video conferencing support

Track record of successful technical support in enterprise environments
