Job Description

We’re seeking a dynamic marketing professional to join the core team responsible for consumer‑focused marketing communications at CNBC. This role is instrumental in shaping and executing brand marketing strategies, with a strong emphasis on daily advertising and promotions management of cross‑platform campaigns.
The position reports to the Senior Director of CNBC Marketing and works collaboratively with the broader CNBC Marketing team, as well as cross‑functional partners across the organization. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and strengthen the CNBC brand through impactful marketing initiatives that support its position as a leading voice in business news.
Key Responsibilities

Manage marketing campaigns across CNBC brand initiatives spanning linear, digital, and direct‑to‑consumer products, events, overseeing the execution of all internal and external elements (TV, audio, print, digital, social, email, and paid media).
Strategic brand leader on the team, creating marketing briefs and executive summaries for various campaigns.
Lead all marketing efforts surrounding sponsored campaigns and paid media buys.
Strategize, schedule and execute all targeted digital marketing ads on cnbc.com.
Develop and manage premium merchandise orders for the CNBC brand, shows, and events.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience.
5+ years of relevant marketing experience, preferably in news media/brand marketing.
Organized and solution‑oriented, resourceful, with a high level of attention to detail and follow‑through.
Comfortable with AI and marketing technology tools and terminology across digital, email, paid media, analytics, and campaign execution.
Eager to work in the fast‑paced, ever‑changing business news world.
Excellent communicator with a strong ability to conduct effective in‑person and email communications.
Strong interpersonal instincts, with the ability to build productive relationships and work effectively with a wide range of personalities and stakeholders.
Able to prioritize and juggle numerous projects and deadlines.
Self‑motivated with the ability to work both independently and with a team.
Additional Information

Must be willing to work in NJ.
Must be willing to occasionally work outside of normal business hours (including weekends) to respond to breaking news or other timely promotional needs.
Must be willing to attend events, including early mornings and some weekends.
Hybrid : This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary range: $68,000 - $100,000.
