Anderson Health Services is seeking a
Program Supervisor
to lead and support Youth Mentors and Youth Care Workers within our residential behavioral health program.
This role is responsible for maintaining a safe, structured, and trauma-informed environment while ensuring high-quality care, staff accountability, and consistent program operations. The ideal candidate is a motivated leader who can balance structure, empathy, and accountability while working with adolescents in a therapeutic setting.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily operations within a residential group home setting
Lead, coach, and mentor Youth Mentors and Youth Care Workers to ensure consistent, high-quality care
Maintain structured routines, expectations, and a safe therapeutic environment
Model and enforce trauma-informed, non-punitive approaches to behavior management
Respond to crises using approved de-escalation and intervention strategies
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team to support individualized service plans
Ensure timely, accurate documentation and clear communication across shifts
Monitor staff performance and provide ongoing coaching and accountability
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required (Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
Minimum 5 years of experience working with youth or behavioral health populations
Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
Age 21 or older
Valid North Carolina driver’s license with clean driving record
Ability to pass background check and drug screening

Excellent communication and decision-making abilities
Commitment to structure, consistency, and accountability
Understanding of trauma-informed care principles
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, and remain active throughout the shift
Ability to respond to crisis situations, including physical intervention when required
Ability to lift, move, or assist as necessary to maintain safety
