The role of the Account Manager is to provide sales representation and account management to assigned accounts in order to develop and increase sales as well as profitability. This role will support accounts in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Increase sales & account profitability within scope of influence
Develop, build and enhance relations with major account buying team
Responsible for Sales Call Planning & Execution
Provide timely information and communication with internal departments regarding sales call materials
Develop, present, and implement Promotional & Marketing Plans with accounts
Prepare and propose annual sales budget for assigned accounts
Prepare for Monthly Business Review Meetings focused on financial performance of the accounts. Develop gap closure plans to achieve quarterly/yearly sales objectives
On-going development and monitoring of key account business plans
Identify, develop, and analyze account data, including profitability, rate of sales, pricing, and consumer trends
Prepare for Monthly Sales & Commercialization Meetings focused on promotional and marketing plans for assigned accounts
Identify, develop, and implement long-term account strategies and objectives
Attend key trade shows - as needed
Attend and participate in retail sponsored events as applicableAct as the key contact for all internal departments regarding all issues pertaining to assigned accounts. These departments include product development, marketing, customer service & finance
Prepare and send call reports within 48 hours of sales call
Maintain an effective knowledge of external market factors including competitive information to make educated account decisions and product recommendations
Set-up regular meetings with assigned accounts involving travelling to their offices or Kids2 offices

QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work in a home-office environment
Ability to structure the daily workload, organize and prioritize tasks
Ability to meet deadlines
Valid driving license
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
4 – 6 years of professional sales (or related) experience in the consumer products industry
Strong background in sales administration / sales support
High School Diploma equivalent required; Business Graduate preferred
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Native German speaker with fluency in English (written & spoken)
MATH MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as margins, discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
COMPUTER/TYPING SKILLS
At a minimum: MS Office, MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
