Commercial Account Executive
As a Commercial Account Executive, you'll be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive account/territory plan and driving sales in a defined territory and/or account list to achieve revenue targets. You will bring a solution-oriented approach to selling, helping prospects understand how our products in conversational marketing and pipeline generation address their unique business needs. You will facilitate every stage in the sales cycle, from initial discovery to pitching our solution and negotiating pricing.
Responsibilities
Master the discovery process and act as a strategic business partner for prospective customers, owning the entire sales cycle.
Prospect, qualify, and close new business deals with commercial-sized organizations (500-2,500 people), leveraging strategic insight to demonstrate value.
Continuously build and maintain a robust sales pipeline while actively working identified target accounts.
Serve as the quarterback for prospective customers and know when to involve the right stakeholders.
Collaborate cross-functionally with key partners such as Marketing, Sales Engineering, Product, and Success.
Understand the competition and strategically speak to our market position.
Qualifications
3-5 years of full-cycle B2B SaaS sales experience, selling into organizations larger than 500 people with an ICP of marketing and sales leaders.
At least 2 years in MarTech.
Bachelor’s degree or higher.
Goal-oriented with a track record of overachievement (President’s Club, Rep of the Year, etc.).
Proven ability to lead an effective sales process and close new business.
Ability to articulate and sell the business value of MQLs, lead generation, and conversions for businesses of all sizes.
Excellent thought leadership, value-based sales cycle execution; highly organized, self-motivated, flexible, and a team player.
Strong desire to succeed and thrive in a high-energy team environment.
Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills with ability to develop C-level relationships.
Training in MEDDIC and/or other enterprise sales methodologies.
Experience with Salesforce.com and virtual selling tools such as Zoom or Webex.
Compensation
Base salary range: $99,500 – $133,100 annually (range may vary by location). In select California and New York markets and major metro areas of Boston, Chicago, Seattle, and Washington DC, the base pay range is $109,500 – $146,500 per year. Additional compensation may include bonus, equity, and benefits.
