If you're already making content (TikToks, Reels, Shorts, YouTube), you know how hard it is to find a brand worth being the face of. Most opportunities are for products that don't matter much. Yoga pants. Gym memberships. Meal kits. DTC stuff that's been done a thousand times, content for brands that won't be remembered.
We're offering something different.
You'll come in as the on-camera face of BizDepot, a national M&A and business brokerage firm that just crossed $1 billion in transactions and is on track to hit $10B by 2030. We're the first boutique firm to cross $1B in California. We're building the most modern brand in M&A from scratch, and we need someone who can be the voice and face of it. Not behind the scenes making graphics. On camera, making content people actually watch.
The work is high stakes. The mandates we win are seven, eight, and nine figures. Your content directly helps win them.
About the role
You'll be the on-camera face of BizDepot. Making TikToks, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and longer-form video as our public-facing creator. Filming ads with you as the talent. Speaking through your content to business owners considering selling, and to entrepreneurs trying to buy.
This isn't a behind-the-scenes role. You're not making graphics or running ads someone else made. You're the person on screen.
What you'll do
- Make 3 to 5 pieces of short-form video per week with you on camera (TikTok, Reels, Shorts, LinkedIn)
- Film ads with yourself as the talent
- Record longer-form content (YouTube, podcast clips) speaking on M&A topics
- Write your own scripts and hooks, with editorial direction from our team
- Work alongside our Chief Acquisition Officer and creative team on what to make and when
- Test, measure, and iterate on what actually wins attention and turns into pipeline
- Use AI as serious creative leverage in your production process
What you'll learn
- On-camera performance: how to hook viewers in the first three seconds, deliver with energy, write for spoken voice
- Hooks and scripts that work for high-stakes B2B audiences, not consumer
- How social algorithms actually move audience, from people testing them daily
- Short-form production craft: lighting, framing, sound, edit pacing
- How to use AI to produce sharper, faster, more original creative
- The M&A vocabulary and buyer and seller psychology that make content actually land
Why this beats other creator gigs
Most brand creator roles have you making content for products that have been done a thousand times. Same playbook, same demos, same fatigue. Content that exists alongside a million other pieces of identical content.
At BizDepot, you'd be the face of something nobody's done well: the modern brand in M&A and business brokerage. We're an established firm doing real transactions at real scale, but the category itself has almost no brand presence. There's open canvas here. Whatever you build with us, you build first. Whatever audience you grow, you grow in a category nobody else has claimed. That's a fundamentally different setup than being one of fifty creators at a DTC brand.
How you'll earn
Stipend during the intern phase, plus commission on deals attributable to content you create. We track which content brings in which sellers and buyers, and you share in the wins. Most content roles never let you see your impact. Here every deal traceable to your work puts money in your pocket.
As you grow, the role expands and so does comp: salary plus commission plus bonus, with equity participation as you climb into senior seats. Your work, your audience, and your equity all compound as the brand grows.
Why we're building this
The M&A industry has almost no brand presence. Most senior advisors in the field came up before social media existed. We're building BizDepot into the firm that teaches the market, owns the audience, and runs an inbound demand engine that competes with anything in financial services. We need a creator with on-camera presence, real algorithmic instinct, and the hunger to build a category. If you want to invent something instead of iterating on someone else's brand book, this is the role.
Who we want
This role is for a creator, not a marketing student. You should already be making content. We want:
- A junior, senior, or recent graduate (open to non-students who fit the creator profile)
- Real on-camera presence: you can already hold a camera and a viewer's attention
- An existing body of content you can show us (your own TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, anywhere you create)
- Algorithmic instinct: you can already tell us why content works, because you've been making it
- Already using AI in your creative process
- Comfort speaking on camera about topics you didn't write yourself
- Hunger to be the public face of a brand, not the backend designer
If you don't have existing on-camera content to show us, this isn't the role for you, and we won't move forward.
The deal
- Part-time, 12 to 15 hours per week, fully remote (U.S.-based)
- $1,200 monthly stipend during the intern phase
- Commission on deals attributable to content you create
- A full-time role with salary, commission, and equity participation waiting after graduation if you perform
- Direct creative collaboration with our Chief Acquisition Officer and existing team
- A real audience and a real category brand to build, with creative ownership
