Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Denver, CO for a Managing Director at The Stellarix Group. In this role, you will oversee and lead key strategic initiatives, drive business growth, and manage client relationships. Responsibilities include mentoring and developing high-performing teams of financial professionals, establishing and executing financial and operational goals, and collaborating with stakeholders to align business strategies. As a Managing Director, you will also play an integral role in maintaining the firm's strong culture of integrity and innovation while representing The Stellarix Group in the marketplace.

Overview

This is a 1099 Stellarix Group leadership role, operating with the W2 MassMutual Career Contract, offering base compensation plus performance-based earnings and access to a full benefits package.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build & Lead a Team: Recruit and select top talent through the 7-Step Stellarix Recruiting Process; expand and manage a high-performing group of advisors.
  • Train & Develop: Oversee onboarding, deliver training sessions, and build predictable calendars that drive advisor success.
  • Drive Growth: Lead your market to year-over-year gains in Life, Disability, LTC, Financial Planning Fees, and GDC production.
  • Coach & Motivate: Conduct one-on-ones, goal-setting meetings, and performance coaching to drive accountability and results.
  • Elevate Culture: Create a competitive, engaged, in-office environment that attracts and retains top talent.
  • Uphold Standards: Maintain full compliance and professional excellence while modeling the firm’s core values.

Qualifications

  • Documented production record and experience developing high-performing advisors.
  • Series 7 & 66 (IA-Rep with MMLIS), Masters and CFP Preferred.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and coaching skills.
  • Able to hold polished, strategic conversations in sophisticated, high-net-worth and executive settings.
  • Demonstrated maturity, sound judgment, and professional presence in all settings.
  • Must provide three professional references prior to offer.
