Company Description

Vive Vascular is the first outpatient facility in Columbus dedicated exclusively to vascular health, offering patients an alternative to traditional hospital-based care. Trillium Surgery is a first of a kind vascular ambulatory surgery center (ASC) connected directly to Vive, expanding the breadth and complexity of procedures performed.

Role Description

The Director of Trillium Surgery will oversee the daily operations of the ASC in the Columbus, Ohio Metropolitan Area. This full-time, on-site role includes managing clinical workflows, coordinating procedure schedules, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. The Director will lead and support clinical and administrative staff, promote evidence-based best practices, and foster a culture of high-quality, patient-centered care. Responsibilities include monitoring financial performance, optimizing resource utilization, and collaborating with physicians and leadership on process improvements and strategic initiatives. The Director will also be accountable for maintaining a safe environment, driving quality and performance metrics, and representing the ASC in relationships with vendors, partners, and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated leadership and management experience in an ASC, outpatient clinic, or similar healthcare setting, with the ability to supervise and develop multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong operational skills, including scheduling, workflow design, resource allocation, and process improvement to support efficient, high-quality patient care.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and quality and safety programs relevant to ambulatory surgery centers.
  • Financial and business acumen, including budgeting, cost management, reporting, and contribution to strategic planning and growth initiatives.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills to collaborate effectively with physicians, staff, patients, and external partners.
  • Ability to manage change, implement new policies and procedures, and adapt to evolving clinical and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in vascular, surgical, or interventional specialties is preferred, with a strong commitment to patient-focused, ethical care.
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, business, or a related field required; advanced degree or relevant clinical license (e.g., RN) is a plus.
