Videographer Intern
The Mesa Chamber of Commerce produces visual content to highlight events, promote programs, and showcase member engagement. With over 500+ events annually, video content plays a key role in telling the Chamber’s story across digital platforms.
The Videographer Intern will assist in capturing and producing high-quality video content for marketing initiatives, events, and social media channels. The Intern must be able to work in a fast‑paced environment while meeting content deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Capture video footage at Chamber events, networking functions, and special programs
Edit video content for social media, website, and promotional campaigns
Assist in planning and storyboarding video projects
Ensure proper lighting, audio, and camera setup during recordings
Organize and maintain video files and media assets
Collaborate with the Communications Team and Events Department as needed
Desired Qualifications and Experience
Actively pursuing or recently completed a degree in film, media production, communications, or a related field
Basic proficiency in video editing software (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools), with a willingness to learn and grow
Understanding of basic videography techniques including composition, lighting, and audio
Ability to multitask and meet project deadlines
Receptive to team feedback, with the ability to refine video content
Time Commitment
The Chamber works to provide a flexible intern opportunity to candidates, asking for a minimum of 20 hours a week, working with the intern to create a schedule that meets their school and life needs.
