We're partnering with an innovative smart home technology company that's transforming how people connect with and protect their homes. Their ecosystem includes smart security cameras, locks, thermostats, sensors, and a unified mobile app experience that puts everything in one place. We're seeking a highly conceptual, integrated Creative Director to lead creative across brand, marketing, content, digital, video, experiential, environmental, retail, and merchandise touchpoints. This role requires a true 360° thinker who can develop big ideas and ensure they translate seamlessly across every customer interaction. This is an opportunity to help shape the future of a growing consumer technology brand while leading work that reaches customers across multiple channels and platforms.

Location: Salt Lake City Area, UT (Hybrid)

Type: Contract-to-Hire

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate during contract period; target conversion salary of approximately $200K base salary plus bonus

Responsibilities

  • Lead creative direction across integrated brand and marketing initiatives
  • Develop and oversee 360° campaigns spanning digital, social, video, experiential, print, retail, environmental, and branded merchandise
  • Shape and evolve the company's visual identity and brand expression across all customer touchpoints
  • Partner closely with marketing, product, communications, and executive leadership teams
  • Lead concept development and storytelling for major brand and campaign initiatives
  • Inspire and mentor a multidisciplinary team of creatives
  • Ensure creative excellence and consistency across all channels
  • Guide projects from strategy and concept through production and execution

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Creative Director leading integrated marketing and brand campaigns
  • Strong background developing 360° creative platforms across multiple channels
  • Exceptional creative and visual storytelling abilities
  • Deep understanding of brand building and modern marketing ecosystems
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across design, content, video, and production
  • Strong design sensibility and appreciation for craft
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on creative leadership
  • Comfortable presenting work to senior stakeholders and executive leadership
  • Portfolio demonstrating breakthrough brand and campaign work

Nice to Have

  • Experience with consumer technology, connected products, smart home, or lifestyle brands
  • In‑house creative leadership experience
  • Experience overseeing video production, content creation, experiential marketing, or branded environments
