Music and Liturgy Coordinator

Description

Resurrection Catholic Church in Moneta seeks a part-time Music and Liturgy Coordinator.

The Music and Liturgy Coordinator selects, plans, and rehearses music for both weekend Masses (Saturday 4:00 pm, Sunday 11:00 am), holy days, funerals, and special liturgies); directs choir rehearsals; attends liturgy committee meetings; coordinates, trains, and develops musicians and cantors/song leaders; prepares an annual music budget; and participates in diocesan/regional gatherings pertinent to liturgy/music. The Coordinator will also oversee many liturgical-related functions as outlined in the job description.

Requirements

Applicants should possess a bachelor's degree in music or equivalent education and experience. A practicing Catholic in good standing and familiar with Catholic liturgy is preferred.
