People & Culture Coordinator
Lightspeed is currently seeking a highly capable and dedicated full-time People & Culture Coordinator to join our team for a 9 month, fixed term period. We are looking for an exceptional candidate who possesses excellent organizational skills, values confidentiality, and pays meticulous attention to detail. You will report directly to the People Business Partner, playing a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our People & Culture function for the Netherlands and Belgium.
As the right hand to our People Business Partners, Payroll, and People Operations team members, you will play a critical role in managing the complete employee lifecycle, ranging from conducting onboarding sessions to ensuring HRIS data integrity and generating insightful reports. This role is truly the backbone of the function responsible for nurturing our most valuable asset: Our people.

Role
Own the employee lifecycle support and administration for the Benelux region (new hire paperwork, onboarding, role/salary changes, Workday updates, time off management including arbodienst support, leaves and terminations, involving the preparation of documentation), tracking/processing information and record-keeping
Collaborate with our office management, IT, Recruitment and People Business Partners to ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding processes for the Benelux team
Perform audits on system information to ensure data integrity while maintaining strict confidentiality and building on our internal control mechanisms
Assist in coordination of employee programs that may include training, recognition, DEI, volunteering, and wellness programs
Provide general administrative support to the People team and take on special People projects as needed

Identify, recommend and proactively take initiative for process and workflow improvements that will allow us to scale and support our significant growth goals
Experience
A minimum of one year of experience in a HR or an office administrative role, demonstrating proficiency in effectively managing high-volume workflows
Experience with Google drive, Workday, ADP, Ashby, ServiceNow, Google sheets or similar software
Basic understanding of employment laws, regulations, compliance requirements and the differences across Benelux
Fluent in both Dutch and English

An acute eye for detail and accuracy is crucial to ensuring accuracy in data entry, documentation, and HR processes, minimizing errors and discrepancies.
A customer-centric approach to HR service delivery, focusing on responsiveness, empathy, and professionalism when assisting employees with HR-related inquiries and concerns.
Ability to handle and analyze large volumes of employee data accurately, ensuring data integrity and maintaining strict confidentiality.
Aptitude for identifying and resolving HR-related issues promptly and efficiently, while adhering to established policies and procedures.
