Responsibilities
To be a successful Program Supervisor you must be willing and become able to do the following always:
Ensure all Professional Success Coaches and Lead Professional Success coaches have the knowledge, skills and tools they need to be successful in their position
Ensure a trauma responsive focus on creating a safe and supportive environment for staff and those served through knowledge, sensitivity, respect, and a focus on resilience and recovery.
Provide supervisees with success focused supervision as outlined in policy.
Provide a safe environment for staff and youth to learn and grow.
Provide leadership within the cottage by organizing and overseeing daily operations of the milieu using a trauma informed approach focused on resilience and recovery.
Selection and training of Professional Success Coaches and Lead Professional Success coaches
Follow Company Policy and Procedure and operate according to the Employee Handbook and Department Guides
Achieve positive discharge outcomes for youth.
Job Focus Areas
50% Success Focused Supervision of Staff
40% Provide leadership in organizing and overseeing daily operations of milieu
5% Participation in supervision, committees, agency-wide and staff meetings
5% On Call
Requirements
To qualify for this job, you need to have:
Be 21 years of age or older
High school diploma or equivalent required.
College degree preferred.
Four years successful experience in a Residential facility
serving youth (i.e. Residential Center or Group Home, Psychiatric Hospital, PRTF, etc.).
Previous supervisory experience preferred.
The ability to write and use a computer.
Ability to travel, driving a company or personal vehicle including at night.
Physical Requirements: Ability to walk, including up stairs, and stand for extended periods of time. Ability to complete an emergency safety intervention as trained. Ability to be subject to outside environmental conditions occasionally and inside conditions frequently.
