Overview
Chevrolet District Sales Manager – responsible for managing and engaging Chevrolet dealers in the Bozeman, Montana territory. This field-based role requires up to 50% travel within the territory and relocation to Bozeman or surrounding area within 60 days of the start date.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a liaison between GM, its dealerships, and other GM partners.
Grow and foster dealership partnerships.
Facilitate mentorship and consulting to ensure monthly and yearly sales objectives are met.
Track dealership Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and other feedback to identify opportunities.
Assist with product launches to ensure streamlined marketing and advertising between dealer, independent aftermarket, and GM.
Monitor dealership personnel training and ensure compliance with GM requirements.
Assist with dealership inventory management, including vehicle and parts ordering and stabilizing inventory.
Analyze dealer sales, local market, and competition to identify revenue opportunities.
Increase sales of GM vehicles and accessory parts to customers.
Assist in customer problem resolution.
Travel to dealers within the designated region.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years automotive industry experience in lieu of a degree.
2+ years sales and customer service experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reporting, and visualization tools.
Ability to travel up to 75% within the territory.
Legal driving privileges and ability to operate a motor vehicle regularly.
