Sales Manager-National Accounts
Commercial Credit Group Inc (CCG) is an independent national commercial equipment finance and leasing company focused on purchase money and refinance transactions in the construction, fleet transportation, waste/environmental and machine tool industries. CCG does equipment financing different than any other lender. We consider the character, collateral and cash flow of the borrower to make our credit decisions, often allowing us to lend money when a bank or captive lender won't. We realize there are ebbs and flows to the business and take the time to listen to the customers' stories. Headquartered in Charlotte, NC, CCG has made NC's Mid-Market Fast 40 List for the 12th time.

CCG is seeking a Sales Manager - National Accounts to be responsible for the development and implementation of a new origination channel for CCG. Typical target accounts will be OEMs or their captive finance arm in the four equipment verticals that CCG serves (construction, machine tool, transportation, and waste) with an emphasis on the construction and class 8 transportation segments. Opportunities sought can be informal one-off transaction flow, formal program agreements, participation in existing subsidized programs, portfolio purchases, or custom private label programs.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain strategic plan alongside senior management

Build and manage database of decision makers at the OEMs and captive finance companies

Coordinate calling, presentation, and sales efforts

Develop customized proposals for the target opportunity

Collaborate with our corporate marketing group on the design and content for presentation and marketing materials

Coordinate efforts with internal disciplines (credit, IT, legal, treasury, etc.) when developing proposals to ensure the success of the opportunity

Communicate throughout CCG and with the OEM / captive and dealers to promote consistent delivery of service and the achievement of goals and objectives

Reporting of metrics

Qualifications:

Excellent knowledge-based sales skills

Complete understanding of the inner workings between an OEM, its captive finance support, dealers, and the requisite financing needs of the end-user customers

Understanding of all facets of equipment finance including credit, collections, documentation, and the components of pricing

Demonstrable experience developing and managing private label or captive finance programs

Superior presentation and communication skills
