Job Summary / Description
A Technical Media Producer’s role combines Live Newscast Directing using automation along with traditional Master Control duties, which include monitoring broadcast signals, commercial play‑out, and FCC compliance.

Responsibilities

Direct live and pre‑recorded productions as assigned and monitor all on‑air streams for multiple television services.

Operate the Ross Overdrive production video switcher to direct live news broadcasts and pre‑produced content.

Operate the master‑control switcher, Nverzion automation, VizRT graphics, and all supporting equipment in Production/Master Control.

Code and execute local live production with Ross Automation.

Handle commercial and programming playback, recording/ingesting, and segmenting material.

Apply knowledge of FCC broadcast regulations to ensure compliance.

Qualifications / Requirements

Preferable experience in broadcast media; at least one year of media broadcast production is preferred.

Reliable, well‑organized, capable of multitasking, and possessing excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work calmly under pressure and meet deadlines.

Willingness to work varied schedules, including weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.

Preference given to candidates with an understanding of FCC broadcast regulations.
