Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and commercially minded Women’s Apparel Designer to help lead and execute seasonal collections. This role requires trend forecasting, concept development, and strong technical execution through CADs and tech packs. You’ll collaborate closely with our founder, production team, and showroom reps to create collections that resonate with both buyers and consumers.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop seasonal collections for both Elevator Disco and Freesia
Create detailed flats, CADs, colorways, and fabric/trim boards
Prepare and manage tech packs for overseas production
Research trends, silhouettes, and market data to create relevant and saleable styles
Attend fit sessions and work with sample makers and vendors to ensure product quality
Collaborate with the sales and production team to meet delivery timelines
Support photo shoots, marketing, and trade show preparation as needed
Qualifications
2–5 years of apparel design experience, preferably in women’s contemporary or wholesale
Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Excel
Strong understanding of garment construction and technical specsAbility to translate trend concepts into commercially successful designs
Self‑motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple deadlines
Experience working with overseas manufacturers is a plus
Knowledge of fabrics, trims, and sourcing is a plus
Passion for fashion, creativity, and teamwork
