Studio Reader (Pool Position) - On-Site

Description:

ABLE is seeking to add diversity to the voices of our volunteer readers--for example, we would like to have younger-sounding voices to read children's books. Share your vocal talent with those who are blind, visually impaired or print disabled! We're looking for dedicated volunteers to record a variety of texts (for example, instruction manuals, magazines, and fiction or non-fiction books) at our professional recording studio. Qualified individuals will possess excellent oratory skills, strong reading comprehension abilities, and the commitment it takes to complete projects in a timely manner.
This is a pool position, meaning volunteering is on a project-by-project basis. Narrators will be given assignments according to how well their voice is suited to a particular project.
