The Account Executive owns client relationships and helps develop and execute marketing programs that drive real business results. You'll develop a deep understanding of each client's business, industry, and goals, contributing to strategic planning, collaborating with internal teams, and ensuring the work is strategically aligned, on brand, and reflective of client objectives. You'll also monitor overall account health, support profitable growth, and proactively identify opportunities to strengthen and expand client partnerships.
What You'll Do
Client Partnership & Strategic Account Management
Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned accounts, owning the client relationship and ensuring clients feel informed, supported, and confident in the work.
Build deep knowledge of each client's business, competitive landscape, and category dynamics, bringing informed perspective to strategic conversations and planning.
Lead integrated marketing campaigns from brief to launch, translating strategy into creatively strong work that drives meaningful business results.
Grow existing accounts by identifying organic opportunities that expand scope, create client value, and deepen partnerships.
Campaign Execution & Stewardship
Write clear, insightful creative and project briefs that accurately capture client objectives, audience, and strategic direction.
Partner with internal teams (strategy, creative, media, production, etc.) to shepherd work from brief through delivery, ensuring alignment with approved strategy and client expectations at every stage.
Prepare and present client-facing materials including proposals, estimates, timelines, and performance updates with clarity and confidence.
Review creative concepts, copy, and production materials to ensure accuracy, brand alignment, and strategic consistency before client delivery.
What You'll Bring
Required Experience & Expertise
4-6 years of experience in agency account management with demonstrated growth in responsibility and client ownership.
Experience working with established brands - you understand what rigor, process, and accountability look like.
A track record of strengthening client relationships through proactive thinking and opportunity identification, not just reactive service.
Familiarity with agency economics: how profitability works, why scope discipline matters, and how to balance client value with agency health.
Some exposure to new business - whether participating in pitches, supporting proposals, or helping onboard new clients.
Campaign management experience with comfort tracking performance and contributing to optimization decisions.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across accounts without losing accuracy or responsiveness.
