Job Description:Smith is looking for a talented and experienced Visual Content Creator to join our dynamic Marketing team. The Visual Content Creator will be responsible for creating engaging, high-quality photo and video collateral to promote and support Smith’s overarching brand strategy. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and project-management skills and have at least 5-7 years of experience in end-to-end photo and video production—including planning, shooting, editing, motion-graphic creation, and post-production—preferably within a technology-based field.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Marketing colleagues and subject-matter experts to concept, plan, shoot, and edit attention-grabbing video and photo content to promote Smith’s business initiatives and goalsDesign and develop photo, video, and animated materials in accordance with Smith’s style guidelinesPlan and execute video and photo shoots for various projects and initiatives, including corporate events, trade shows, internal communications, webpages, social media, signage, and marketing materialsConduct employee and executive interviews and photo shoots, ensuring subjects appear natural, approachable, and professionalEdit and retouch photo and video assets to ensure messaging and visuals promote brand consistencyManage and maintain photography and videography gear, lighting setups, and audio equipmentTag, organize, and archive photo and video assets in Smith’s internal databasesOther duties as assignedRequirementsBachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in photography, videography, film, animation, visual communication, or related field5-7 years of professional experience in a visual content role, preferably within a technology-based industryStrong portfolio demonstrating exceptional skill in photography, photo editing, videography, video editing, and motion graphic designExpertise in post-production functions, such as color grading and sound editingHigh proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and IllustratorFamiliarity with collaborative project-management tools, such as Monday.com, Asana, or JiraFamiliarity with digital asset-management toolsRefined eye for detail and aesthetics, including composition, layout, and color theoryAbility to effectively organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projectsAbility to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with team members and subject-matter experts across all departmentsOccasional evening and weekend availability is required with advanced noticeSome travel may be requiredSmith is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer#LI-AK1We are an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
