Role
The Sales Manager will be responsible for overall commercial ownership of new and awarded business for their assigned customer base. This position requires leadership qualities to work through issues, understand market trends and provide strategic feedback to assist the sales organization.
Responsibilities
Grow margin on awarded programs
Seek out new business opportunities
Grow top‑line revenue for assigned customers
Process and create quotations for customers
Follow up on quality or material delivery concerns
Identify key decision makers at potential customers and develop business relationships to secure new business
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
7–10 years of sales or account management experience focused on direct OEM accounts
Experience negotiating premium cost claims with OEM customers
Experience tracking price changes and maintaining accurate records of changes, including margin impacts
Ability to understand drawings and technical information
Experience tracking margin improvement by capitalizing on ECs, CTO, and one‑time commercial opportunities
