POSITION SUMMARY
Develop and implement strategies to increase market share by identifying targeted commercial and/or government physician practices, hospitals, wound care clinics, medical centers, surgical centers, and related entities within the assigned territory.
Promote and sell the Company’s products and tissues by interacting with established customers and developing new prospects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Contribute to minimal to moderate sales growth of existing accounts in assigned territory (supervision level: high to moderate).
Maintain high customer and patient satisfaction by providing the necessary time and attention to accounts.
Assist in identifying new market opportunities, implementing marketing strategies, and developing sales plans to penetrate targeted facilities within the assigned territory.
Assist with selecting presentation content from company-approved resources; conduct large group and individual presentations on company products and their usages.
Assist in resolving reimbursement issues for customers within established policies and guidelines.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
BS/BA in a related discipline; 2–5 years in a related field with 1–3 years progressive responsible positions (or verifiable ability).
OR MS/MA; 1–3 years related experience (certification required in some areas). Prefer 3–4 years in medical device, biotechnology, and tissue segments; experience in high-growth organizations and relationship building.
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES (Required/Preferred)
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Ability to interact with all levels of management and customers.
Ability to influence others using tenacity and diplomacy.
Organized, flexible, multitask with attention to detail.
Strong analytical, strategic/technical analysis, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to analyze markets, plan sales strategies, and present clinical/scientific data to physicians.
Proven sales results and achievement of/exceeding objectives; strategic selling and market analytics.
Ability to build a network of healthcare provider relationships.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work at customer/clinical sites and/or home office; dress code (scrubs and white coat); follow credentialing/registration system requiring up-to-date vaccines; regular local and/or long-distance travel within the assigned territory.
COMPENSATION/BENEFITS
$60,000–$72,000 plus commissions (based on experience, credentials, and location). Benefits include healthcare, 401(k), ESPP, vacation, and parental leave.
