Job Summary
Brand Manager, DEWALT, North America – Towson, MD / Remote.
As a Brand Manager, you will be part of the Tools & Outdoor Commercial DEWALT team driving key initiatives within the DEWALT portfolio for North America. Reporting to the Director, DEWALT, North America, you will play a pivotal role in driving brand growth, supporting new product development (NPD), and ensuring best‑in‑class commercialization.
Responsibilities
Support the development and execution of brand strategy, ensuring alignment with DEWALT and regional objectives.
Uphold consistent brand expression and adherence to guidelines across all touchpoints as a brand ambassador.
Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitive activity to inform brand positioning and identify growth opportunities.
Collaborate with Product Development, Marketing, and Channel teams to facilitate the NPD process from ideation through launch.
Create and execute commercialization plans for new products, supporting market readiness and impactful launches.
Recommend product positioning, packaging, and messaging to maximize relevance and appeal to target users.
Work with Marketing teams to deliver marketing assets and campaigns, including digital content, sales materials, events, and activations.
Coordinate with channel teams to support effective brand presence and execution across all sales channels.
Track and report on marketing effectiveness, leveraging data and feedback to support continuous improvement.
Manage assigned projects, ensuring high‑quality, on‑time, and on‑budget delivery while providing regular updates on brand and product performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
2–4 years of experience in brand management, product marketing, commercial execution, sales, or related roles within consumer durables, tools, or similar industries.
Demonstrated ability to support brand initiatives, assist in NPD, and contribute to go‑to‑market plans.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market trends and consumer insights.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Solid project management skills, with experience supporting multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Experience working in a matrixed, cross‑functional environment.
Creative, agile, and proactive problem‑solver with enthusiasm for building strong brands.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and external partners.
Results‑oriented mindset with a focus on driving brand growth and supporting commercial objectives.
