Writer

Role Description
This is a full‑time on‑site Writer role located in Herndon, VA. The Writer will be responsible for creating compelling content across various formats, including articles, reports, blog posts, and press releases. They will collaborate with internal teams to develop communication materials, perform in-depth research, and maintain adherence to organizational messaging standards. Additional responsibilities include editing and proofreading content to ensure accuracy and clarity, as well as contributing ideas to develop innovative and engaging content strategies.

Qualifications

Strong skills in Writing, Creative Writing, and Content Development

Proficiency in Research, Content Strategy, and understanding target audiences

Experience with Editing and Proofreading for accuracy and quality

Basic knowledge of Digital Content and Marketing principles

Exceptional communication and organizational skills

Experience working collaboratively in team environments

Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field

Experience in higher education or academic environments is a plus
