Product Manager, Delivery & Customer Engagement Analytics

We are evolving into a modern customer engagement platform, helping teams reach the right customers with relevant experiences across channels. This Product Manager role owns the delivery and AI‑driven optimization layer, focusing on AI‑assisted messaging delivery, customer engagement analytics, and optimization. You will drive automation, simplify delivery reporting workflows, and partner on reliability and observability requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Product vision & strategy

Define and evolve product vision, strategy, and roadmap for messaging delivery and analytics
Connect capabilities to measurable engagement performance
Translate business, technical, and operational requirements into clear product strategies and actionable features

Messaging delivery

Own product direction across email, SMS, push, and emerging channels
Improve execution visibility by surfacing send status, failures, and diagnostics
Partner with engineering on delivery architecture and reliability patterns

AI‑driven delivery & optimization

Define product direction for AI‑assisted and agentic capabilities, including orchestration support and send‑time optimization
Partner with AI engineering to turn engagement data into actionable recommendations and workflows
Ensure transparency, trustworthiness, and usability of AI features in a regulated environment

Customer engagement analytics

Own campaign and journey reporting and analytics
Simplify how users access, interpret, and act on engagement data
Define analytics requirements connecting content decisions to outcomes

Channel expansion

Mature push and other emerging channel capabilities from a product and operations standpoint
Integrate new channels cleanly with content creation and journey workflows

Platform trust & reliability

Define user‑facing reliability and observability requirements
Partner with engineering and operations on reliability initiatives
Contribute to broader platform trust goals, such as error handling and self‑serve operational workflows

Automation & simplification

Reduce friction in delivery monitoring, failure triage, and reporting through automation and better design
Enable self‑serve experiences for users to resolve issues without escalation

Discovery, delivery & measurement

Lead discovery with campaign managers, marketing operations, and analytics users
Prioritize features based on impact, reliability risk, business value, and effort
Define KPIs for delivery success and analytics adoption

Cross‑functional partnership

Collaborate with journey, content, and customer‑data product managers
Ensure delivery and analytics integrate cleanly across the engagement stack
Own delivery and measurement slice of end‑to‑end experiences

High‑impact manual workflows replaced with reliable, in‑product automation and clearer user workflows
Core delivery status and reporting experiences redesigned for clarity
Campaign and journey analytics become a trusted measurement tool
Progress on multi‑channel delivery maturity with peer product teams
User‑facing reliability requirements defined and advancing with engineering
Growth Path

This role owns a critical part of the platform’s engagement stack. Strong performers grow into deeper ownership of multi‑channel delivery and analytics, and toward Senior Product Manager scope as the platform expands.
Qualifications

5+ years of product management experience with focus on messaging delivery, martech operations, campaign analytics, or related domains
Proven experience delivering platform or internal product capabilities in complex, cross‑functional environments
Understanding of messaging execution and operational realities of large‑scale campaign delivery
Experience with analytics, reporting, or measurement products that turn data into action
Ability to simplify complex workflows and reduce manual work through better product design
Strong partnership skills with engineering, operations, design, and business stakeholders
Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills
Experience defining KPIs and using data to inform prioritization and decisions
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
Optional: Enterprise messaging, marketing automation, or customer engagement platforms experience
Optional: Familiarity with push/mobile/web or other digital channels
Optional: Experience with reliability, observability, or operational transparency requirements
Optional: Experience in regulated industries or high‑volume communications
Working knowledge of SQL, data tools, or reporting systems (preferred)
Advanced degree or relevant certifications (preferred)

This hybrid position requires on‑site presence 2‑3 days a week at one of the following locations: Palo Alto, CA; Seattle, WA; Bethesda, MD.
