Drayage Account Manager
The Drayage Account Manager position is a customer/carrier operations role responsible for operating and growing relationships with existing and new customers for the services of Drayage, Transloading, and other transportation needs. The Drayage Account Manager will handle the entire shipment lifecycle for drayage accounts working with both BCOs and NVOCCs and work closely with sales and leadership stakeholders within 1CF to determine the best approach for each account.

Primary responsibilities include

Act as the primary contact for key drayage customer accounts on a daily basis

Establish and grow relationships with customer contacts

build rapport with carriers in key markets

Build and execute orders from order creation through order completion

Thrive in a fast paced, ever-changing business landscape

Respond to customer request in a timely and professional manner

Provide creative solutions to customers’ needs

Qualifications

Customer Relationship Management and Client Communication skills

Experience with Logistics Coordination and freight brokerage / 3PL

Problem-Solving and Conflict Resolution abilities

Strategic Planning and Business Development experience

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field is a plus

Previous work experience in logistics or freight management is highly preferred
