Overview
Sr. Director, Account Operations – responsible for leading a centralized bid support and proposal function within Revenue Operations, ensuring high‑quality, timely, and consistent responses across all client requests and opportunities. Provides oversight and coordination for complex and high‑value opportunities, supports deal strategy, aligns stakeholders, and drives standardization, efficiency, and broader account operations processes.
Responsibilities
Lead end‑to‑end bid and proposal support for Agency, Brand, and Complex teams, ensuring timely assignment, prioritization, and completion.
Review bid and proposal responses for quality, accuracy, completeness, and alignment with client requirements.
Act as an escalation point for complex, high‑priority, or non‑standard opportunities, guiding appropriate responses.
Coordinate with Sales, Delivery, Operations, Product, and Technology teams to gather required inputs, clarify scope, and align on timelines.
Support feasibility evaluation by validating sample availability, methodology, and operational requirements.
Collaborate with global operations, technology, and product teams to develop and execute project plans, defining scope, schedule, deliverables, resources, and budget.
Lead and manage onshore and offshore bid‑support teams, ensuring clear roles, strong coordination, and consistent performance.
Monitor workload, turnaround times, and resource allocation, adjusting priorities to meet business needs.
Provide coaching and feedback to team members, support hiring, onboarding, and training.
Partner with cross‑functional teams to support opportunity development, align stakeholders, and contribute to deal strategy for complex, high‑value opportunities.
Drive standardization, efficiency, and automation across bid and proposal processes; track activity in CRM systems and monitor performance metrics, including win rates.
Perform performance management, employee lifecycle management, governance, leadership, and culture ambassadorship duties.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in bid support, sales support, project coordination, or related function.
Experience leading or managing teams across multiple groups or regions.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills; ability to manage multiple bids and competing priorities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to coordinate across cross‑functional teams.
Ability to assess requirements, validate inputs, and ensure accuracy and completeness of bid responses.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality work.
Problem‑solving skills with ability to identify risks, escalations, and support resolution.
Experience working with CRM systems and maintaining accurate data and reporting.
Fluency with AI tools and demonstrated ability to use AI to optimize workflows, improve quality, and reduce manual effort.
Nice to Haves
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
Experience in bid preparation, client support, or project management.
Familiarity with international research and fieldwork practices.
Experience working in global operations environments.
Experience implementing automation or workflow optimization tools.
Experience with proposal management platforms or content libraries.
Experience partnering with Product and Technology teams to improve tools and processes.
Pay Transparency
Anticipated base salary range: $125,000 to $157,000. Final compensation depends on various factors such as experience, industry, and job‑specific skills. Bonus, equity, and benefits are not included.
