Position Information

Must have current work authorization; visa sponsorship not available. Compliance with university policies required.

Responsibilities

Assist with implementing media communication programs and activities.

Gather information to enhance public understanding of the university through media outlets.

Engage prospective students and employers via digital communications.

Support Admissions, Recruitment, Academic Affairs, and Career Services teams.

Develop and execute strategic communication initiatives.

Create educational and promotional materials for undergraduate and graduate business programs.

Create high‑quality visual assets through photography, videography, and editing.

Operate video and photography gear, manage shoots, and produce polished digital assets.

Provide technical support for marketing campaigns across web, social, and print channels.

Requirements
Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a related area and/or equivalent experience/training.

Experience Requirements

0–1 year of related experience.

6 months of experience with higher education.

Preferred Minimum Requirements

Basic knowledge of news, media communications, and media relations.

Basic skills in social media and electronic communications.

Basic written, verbal, interpersonal communication skills and political acumen.

Basic organizational skills.

Skill to maintain confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

Basic knowledge of the university, its programs, and infrastructure.

Proven experience in digital marketing: social media management, email marketing, and website content management.

Working knowledge of platforms like Canva, Video Editor, and CapCut.

Knowledge of cinematography, typography, lighting, and audio.

Strong technical editing and post‑production skills.

Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into insights.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; keen eye for detail; strong editing abilities.

Proficiency in graphic design software: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.

Experience with email marketing platforms: Mailchimp, Salesforce/TargetX.

Familiarity with CMS: WordPress, Drupal.

Knowledge of SEO best practices.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

A creative mindset focused on storytelling and audience engagement.
