Job Overview
The University Center is seeking student employees who can assist the Mercer community in enjoying the University Center to the fullest extent.
Responsibilities
Support sound equipment operation and setup for events and activities within the University Center, including computer programs and audio/visual systems.
Qualifications
Current Mercer student
Ability to exhibit quality, efficiency, and competence in work
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Ability to handle situations appropriately
Flexible work schedule and ability to work early‑morning or late‑night shifts
Schedule & Compensation
Pay Rate: $11 - $14 per hour
Scheduled Hours: 10
Start Date: 08/17/2026
End Date: 05/10/2027
Employment Eligibility
In adherence to the Immigration Control Act of 1986, all student employees must complete an Employment Eligibility Verification Form (I‑9) and present documentation verifying citizenship or permanent residency before beginning work. Required documents include a valid U.S. passport, certificate of U.S. citizenship, or alien registration card with photograph, OR two of the following: a state driver’s license, validated student ID card, original social security card, birth certificate.
