Analyst, Baseball - Hitting and Recruiting (Athletics)
The role supports the Arizona State Baseball program by working under the Head Coach to meet program goals, gather and analyze data, assist in practice and game planning, and manage recruiting efforts.
Position Highlights
The position requires a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, and travel as needed.
Duties & Responsibilities
Assist in data collection and dissemination of information to coaches and players.
Support the preparation of practice and game plans, both offensive and defensive.
Help with hitting instruction and daily player preparation.
Create and maintain a comprehensive recruiting board and schedule coaching visits to potential student-athletes.
Assist with on-campus recruiting visits.
Maintain budget accountability.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to evaluate players’ potential to succeed at a Big 12 level.
Knowledge of NCAA, Big 12, and University of Arizona rules and compliance.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Capacity to multitask amid frequent interruptions.
Strong motivation to initiate, lead, and support value-added projects.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Collaboration in a respectful and effective communication environment.
Organizational skills to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
Ability to develop and maintain positive interpersonal relationships.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
Experience in college or professional baseball.
Preferred Qualifications
Recruiting experience and evaluation of college and high-school level baseball players.
Coaching experience.

FLSA Status: Exempt.

Hours: 40 per week plus nights and weekends.
