Course Description
Choir specializes in many different musical styles. Performances will include works from jazz, traditional, popular, and classical repertoires. Emphasis is placed on correct vocal and performance techniques and improvement of musical skills.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:

A master's degree in music

Higher Education Teaching Experience

Compliance with CSU’s Out‑of‑State Employment Policy – work must be performed in California

Preferred qualifications:

A doctorate in vocal or choral music

Intercultural competence and a commitment to serving the campus community in teaching and service

Salary commensurate with degree level and experience. Anticipated hiring salary range: $5,507 – $8,000 per full‑time month. The salary schedule information for the Lecturer – Academic Year Classification is available in the following ranges:

Lecturer A – AY: $5,507 – $6,677 per full‑time month

Lecturer B – AY: $6,221 – $13,224 per full‑time month

The anticipated hiring range is generally at or near the minimum of the appropriate range, commensurate with education and experience.
