Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Mixer I to join our manufacturing team on 3rd shift. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, measuring, screening, and preparing raw materials used in the production process. This position plays a critical role in ensuring materials are accurately prepared and transferred for downstream manufacturing operations.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a hands-on production environment, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and maintain a commitment to quality and safety.
Essential Responsibilities

Receive, retrieve, and measure various raw materials stored in containers of different sizes, including:
40-pound containers

50-pound bags

Bulk bags

Totes

Large drums

Hoppers

Operate mixing and screening equipment used in the preparation of production materials.

Screen and re-screen products to ensure quality standards are met.

Prepare bond materials for transfer to subsequent production processes.

Manually mix materials as required.

Handle a variety of materials, including:
Abrasive grains

Ceramic materials

Resins

Chemicals

Other production compounds

Maintain accurate material handling practices and follow established work instructions.

Support production goals while adhering to all safety and quality requirements.

Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with company standards.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

Previous experience working in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.

Ability to follow written instructions and established procedures.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to perform mathematical calculations accurately.

Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred:

Experience operating mixing, screening, or material handling equipment.

Experience working with powders, resins, ceramics, abrasives, or chemical compounds.

Prior experience in an industrial manufacturing setting.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.

Comfortable working around industrial equipment and manufacturing materials.

Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Schedule

3rd Shift

Hours: 8:30 PM

5:30 AM

Total Weekly Hours: 42.5 hours

Lunch Break: 30 minutes

Overtime may be required based on business needs.
