Senior Global Product Manager - Immunohematology Platforms

Overview

QuidelOrtho unites the strengths of Quidel Corporation and Ortho Clinical Diagnostics to create a world‑leading in vitro diagnostics company. We are seeking a Senior Global Product Manager (Immunohematology Platforms) in the Transfusion Medicine Business Unit. This role reports directly to the Director of TM Platforms and may be based in Raritan, NJ, Rochester, NY, or remotely within the United States.
Responsibilities

Develop marketing plans, including market dynamics, competitive analysis, customer segmentation, positioning, messaging, market potential, share, and forecast models for current and upcoming products, with a focus on workflow automation solutions.
Oversee lifecycle management of on‑market products and solutions.
Monitor product performance in collaboration with quality, compliance, and customer technical services; lead actions to ensure product quality and availability.
Develop and execute launch plans for new product introductions.
Develop and validate new product requirements based on global customer needs, market insights, and competitive analysis to drive differentiation and sales.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
Minimum five (5) years of relevant business experience; experience in blood banking is a plus.
Strong customer focus and passion for delivering value.
Excellent analytical, communication, writing, and organizational skills.
Experience in new product development, needs assessment, claim development, financial analysis, and product launches.
Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with willingness to gather input from multiple sources.
Travel & Work Environment

Travel required up to 15% of the time, including domestic and international overnight trips. The position supports remote work but requires discipline, organization, and self‑motivation to work autonomously from a home office.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $135,000 - $160,000 USD; bonus eligible.
