POSITION OVERVIEW
The Associate Technician, Operations is an entry‑level role for recent graduates or experienced candidates. It supports manufacturing and packaging operations, including operating equipment, monitoring quality, cleaning work areas, and moving materials efficiently. Success requires a willingness to learn, follow safety and quality guidelines, and collaborate with team members.
PRIMARY ACTIVITIES
Operate manufacturing and packaging equipment following GMPs and SOPs.
Complete line clearance, cleaning, inspection, and required documentation.
Assist in basic setup of machines as needed.
Transport equipment, materials, supplies, and products to support production.
Document equipment challenges per current procedures.
Perform in‑process product quality checks and inspections supporting manufacturing, packaging, validation, and development processes.
Identify equipment malfunctions, product defects, and process issues; communicate for timely resolution.
Assist in troubleshooting equipment.
Complete process documentation promptly and accurately to meet data integrity requirements.
Organize, clean, and maintain work area to ensure a clean and orderly environment.
Support the Manufacturing Division site mission by ensuring finished goods are of highest quality, optimal cost, and delivered on schedule.
COMPLIANCE
Conduct manufacturing and packaging operations in accordance with cGMP, SOPs, and divisional policies.
Adhere to site personal conduct and attendance policies.
Follow health and safety policies, including proper gowning and use of safety equipment.
Report unsafe conditions and participate in safety investigations.
Identify and report compliance, environmental, safety, and process deviations promptly.
Complete EHS and quality‑related compliance training in a timely manner.
Maintain work area in compliance with housekeeping, material segregation, and gowning requirements.
Document manufacturing and packaging activities in accordance with Good Documentation Practices and data integrity.
COLLABORATION & TEAMWORK
Collaborate with peers and employees at various levels to achieve company, site, and departmental goals.
Participate in improvement activities and projects to enhance manufacturing and packaging processes.
Attend safety, housekeeping, 5S, GEMBA, and other training/initiatives as required.
Participate in projects to enhance equipment functionality and operational processes.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Willingness to work irregular hours, including multi‑shift operation and weekends.
Basic computer literacy (internet browsers, e‑mail, word processing).
Capability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Skills:
Manufacturing, production, or packaging shop floor experience.
SHIFT & SCHEDULE
2nd shift (Monday‑Friday); overtime on weekends required.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Salary Range:
$43,100 – $67,800. Bonus and long‑term incentive may be available if applicable.
